“Love never stops loving” (1 Corinthians 13:8, TPT)

I believe that the greatest lesson that the life of Jesus teaches us is that God’s kingdom operates on love. The love of God transforms us and empowers us to love and even forgive others.

However, love doesn’t look the same in every situation. God’s love that’s portrayed throughout the Bible teaches us that love comes with boundaries. And even though God offers the same love and grace to everyone there are consequences when people continue to live in sin.

So how do we continue to love when people choose to live toxic lives? I believe that we can love from a distance as we forgive them with healthy boundaries in place. Forgiving them keeps our hearts right before God and boundaries protect us them from their hurtful behavior.

God, teach us how to love like you do in every situation. Thank you for the example of Jesus and that your kingdom operates in my life through the channel of love.
