Personal Story

Every time I prepare to preach or lead worship, I spend quality time with God in His Word. It's there that He reminds me what His purpose is for my life; it's there that His promises give me boldness to step into the unknown; and it's there that He fills my heart with love and compassion for those I minister to. There are three foundational things that I want to inspire you with as you make them integral parts of your life. First, open the pages of Scripture as you ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you from God's heart. Second, see your time in God's Word as time spent with Him, knowing that He does speak to you there. And third, ask for a revelation of Jesus as you read your Bible realizing that you need the same power that raised Him from the dead operating in your own life.
